I am a very experienced cook and childcare professional running a catering business around my 2 young children. They often have friends around who cook lunch and treats with them and from this and our absolute passion for parties, the concept of Truly Scrumptious was born!

Without the need to hire a hall, you can have a number of children (minimum 4, maximum dependent on ages) who have bags of fun at your child’s party and cook their own party food.

I arrive 45 minutes before the party to set up with all the food and equipment.  You don’t have to worry about the mess either as I clear everything away while the children tuck into their meal, especially hungry as they have cooked it themselves.The party takes 2 hours plus about half an hour for eating!

They leave with the fabric apron they have personalized at the party and a recipe card so they can re-create their feast at home.  They all ice a cookie to take home too and this can be designed to tie in with the party theme, or plain if preferred.  For older children (10+) we can substitute chocolate truffle making to take home if required.

New for 2010 is our Masterclass.  A one to one session for your child where they learn new skills and cook what they want in your kitchen.  As with the parties I arrive early to set up and provide all the equipment and ingredients giving your child the whole 3 hour session to cook.  A fantastic birthday gift!  See additional parties/price list for more information.
